Introduction
Hi friends, the purpose of this website is to discuss ways to increase your self esteem. Your life is better when you have high self esteem. Your self esteem affects your choices (or lack of choices) in life regarding your education, your
work (job or career), your relationships with your family and friends, and
your relationship with your partners.
Comparison of People with Low Self Esteem and People with High Self Esteem
People with low self esteem often complain about school being hard for them and
expect to fail in their classes. They look for easy classes and have low expecta-
tions regarding education after high school. People with high self esteem approach
education with a positive attitude. They enjoy the challenge of studying for hard
classes and look forward to training in a college or university to help them get
good jobs.
People with low self esteem tend to gravitate toward low-status jobs. They often
do not get promoted because they don’t have positive attitudes regarding the work
they do and are afraid of learning new things. When they apply for better jobs,
they usually don’t get them because they don’t “sell” themselves very well in
job interviews and they expect to fail tests they take for better jobs. In contrast,
people who have high self esteem often have positive attitudes about their jobs.
They are also willing to try new things. They also look for better jobs and they
they interview for these jobs. Even if some interviews or tests don’t work out very
well, they don’t give up. They keep their eyes open regarding ways to improve their performances on tests and interviews.
When people with low self esteem spend time with family and friends, they feel
inferior, and as a result, they don’t have anything good to say about themselves.
They don’t expect any compliments. They also get jealous when other people
succeed. People with high self esteem say good things about their lives. They are
gracious when accepting compliments, and they are sincerely happy when other
people succeed.
People with low self-esteem look for acceptance from their partners. As a result of feeling inferior, they usually don’t say anything if and when their partners hurt their feelings because they think their partners did not treat them right. They are not choosy about the qualities of their partners. When they find out they are in bad relationships, they are reluctant to let go of those relationships. They don’t think anyone else would love them or even enjoy being with them. People who high self esteem look for partners who are motivated to improve their lives. They give positive feedback to their partners and are focused on achieving positive goals. I am not talking about workaholics, though (people who are constantly busy). People with high self esteem look for encouragement from other people and they are happy when their partners or friends do well in school or get promoted.
High Self Esteem and Its Effect on the Quality of People’s Lives
People with high self esteem are usually happier. They expect good things to
happen to them, and their lives generally are better than the lives of people with
low self esteem. They usually perform better in school, get better jobs, and spend time with people who encourage them to achieve their goals. I believe in the power of self-fulfilling prophesies. People usually get what they expect. Their lives are more fulfilling, and they often have good friends.

Hi Joelle,
Thank you for the heads-up. When I respond to more comments and add more blog posts, you might have an easier time finding my stuff. However, I am going to switch to a “free” blog. I am no longer using this blog for business purposes. I still plan to blog on self esteem and related topics.

Hi Tommy,
I am glad you enjoyed reading about self esteem. I will not be selling products or services anymore. Therefore, I will switch to a “free” blog. That way, I can continue to write about self esteem and related topics.
